Kendriya Vidyalayas are a system of central government schools in India that were instituted under the aegis of the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD).Kendriya Vidyalaya contains over 1096 schools in Indian and three abroad.The Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, which literally translates to ‘Central School Organisation’, oversees the functioning of the schools with its headquarters in New Delhi.The system came into being in 1963 under the name ‘Central Schools’. Later, the name was changed to Kendriya Vidyalaya. All the schools are affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE).

Kendriya Vidyalaya KVS Recruitment Detailed Eligibility:
PGT(s):
Two years integrated Post Graduate M.Sc Course of Regional College of Education of NCERT in the concerned subject. Or
Master degree from a recognized university with at least 50% marks in aggregate in concerned subject.
B.Ed or equivalent degree from Recognized University.
Proficiency in teaching in Hindi and English medium.
Note: Candidates having Special B.Ed are not eligible for the post of PGT
TGT (s):
Four years’ Integrated degree course of Regional College of Education of NCERT in the concerned subject with at least 50% marks in aggregate; OR
Bachelor’s Degree with at least 50% marks in the concerned subjects/ combination of subjects and in aggregate.
Pass in the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET), conducted by CBSE in accordance with the Guidelines framed by the NCTE for the purpose.
Proficiency in teaching Hindi and English medium
In the absence of CTET qualified candidates. Candidates without CTET qualification may be considered if otherwise eligible as per KVS recruitment rules.
Primary Teacher:
Senior Secondary School Certificate with 50% marks or Intermediate with 50% marks or its equivalent
Pass in the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) conducted by the CBSE in accordance with the Guidelines framed by the NCTE for the purpose.
Competence to teach through Hindi & English media.
Note:
For the post of Primary Teacher, the candidate should possess two years Diploma in Education (D.Ed.) or Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.).
The candidates having professional qualification B.Ed or B.Ed (Special Education) are not eligible for the post of Primary Teacher.
Computer Instructor:
B.E /B Tech (Computer Science)/IT / BCA / MCA/ M. Sc. (Computer Science) / M.Sc.(Electronics with Computer Science component)/M.Sc(IT)/B.Sc (Computer Science).OR
Bachelor’s/ Master Degree in any Science subject/Mathematics from recognized university with Postgraduate Diploma in Computer application from government recognized university/ institute. OR
Post-graduate degree in any subject with Postgraduate Diploma in Computer application from government recognized university / ‘O’ level from DOEACC. OR
Post-graduate degree in any subject with minimum ‘A’ level from DOEACC
Skilled Teachers:
SAI Coaches, NIS/ B. P. Ed/ M. P. Ed/ Diploma or Participation at National/ State level with good track records.
Basic Qualification from recognized University /Institute.
Yoga – Graduation +01 year yoga training from a recognized University.
Counselors:
B.A. /B.Sc.(Psychology) with certificate of Diploma in counseling.
Minimum of one year experience in Providing career/educational counseling the students at schools or working knowledge and experience in placement Bureaus or Registration with rehabilitation council of India as vocational counselor.
Doctor: MBBS and Registered with MCI
Nurse: Diploma in Nursing
German Language Teacher: Graduate from a recognized university with B1 grade in concerned subject.
Note:
Proficiency in teaching Hindi and English language is essential for all categories of teachers.
Knowledge of Computer Application is necessary (for result preparation etc.).
Payscale details:
PGT: Rs. 27,500/Month
TGT: Rs. 26,250/Month
Primary Teacher: Rs. 21,250/Month
Computer Instructor: Rs. 26,250/- For secondary & Rs.21,250/- For primary
Skilled Teachers: Rs. 21,250/Month
Counselors: Rs. 26,250/Month
Doctor: Rs. 1,000/- per working day
Nurse: Rs. 750/- per working day
German Language Teacher: Rs. 26,250/Month
