India Post has commenced the registration process for Gram Dak Sewak recruitment (Branch Postmaster (BPM), Assistant Branch Postmaster (ABPM), Dak Sevak) for Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Chhattisgarh circles today i.e., October 15, 2019.

The interested candidates can visit the official website of India Post — http://appost.in/ for the registration.

India Post is conducting this recruitment drive to fill up 2707 vacancies in Andhra Pradesh, 1799 vacancies in Chhattisgarh, and 970 vacancies in Telangana circles.

Candidates can register online and pay the application upto November 14, 2019. The application process for India Post GDS recruitment will commence on October 22, 2019. The last date to submit online applications for GDS recruitment is November 21, 2019.

Age Limit

The minimum and maximum age for engagement to GDS posts should be 18 and 40 years respectively as on 15.10.2019 the date of notification of the vacancies.

Time Related Continuity Allowance (TRCA)

The following Minimum TRCA will be payable to the categories of GDS.

Educational Qualification

Candidates should possess Secondary School Examination pass certificate of 10th standard with passing marks in Mathematics and English (having been studied as compulsory or elective subjects) conducted by any recognized Board of School Education by the Government of India/State Governments/ Union Territories in India.

Compulsory knowledge of Local Language

The candidate must have studied the local language at least up to 10th standard (as compulsory or elective subjects).
