The Tamil Nadu Teachers Recruitment Board (TN TRB) has invited applications from eligible candidates for direct recruitment for the post of Lecturers in Government Polytechnic Colleges and Special Institutions (Engineering/ Non Engineering) Tamil Nadu Educational Service for the year 2017-2018 only through online mode.

In the notification released by the TN TRB details like vacancies, pay scale, exam scheme are given however the application starting date is not mentioned.

According to the notification, there are around 1060 vacancies for Lecturers in Government Polytechnic Colleges and Special Institutions (Engineering/ Non Engineering) in the pay scale of Rs.56100 - 177500 in Level 22. The post code is 19PT.

TN TRB Polytechnic Lecturer recruitment 2019: Examination Fee

The Examination fee is Rs.600/- (Rupees Six Hundred only) for all candidates except SC, SCA, ST and Person with Disability. For SC, SCA, ST and Person with Disability Candidates, the examination fee is Rs.300/-(Rupees Three Hundred only).

Online payment can be made only through Payment Gateway like Net banking/ Credit Card/ Debit Card.

Candidates should not have completed 57 years.

TN TRB Polytechnic Lecturer recruitment 2019: Educational Qualifications

1) Lecturer in Engineering subjects: "A Bachelor's Degree in the appropriate branch of Engineering/ Technology/ Architecture with not less than sixty percent of marks or equivalent:

Provided that if the candidate has a Master's Degree in the appropriate branch of Engineering/ Technology/ Architecture, the candidate should possess a first class or equivalent in the appropriate branch either at Bachelor's or Master's degree level."

Note: Vacancies are not available for Lecturer in Architecture and hence B.Arch., degree holders are not eligible to apply to this recruitment.

2) Lecturer in non-Engineering subjects: A first class Master's degree in the appropriate branch of study.

Note: All the Educational qualifications and the results should have been obtained prior to the date of this notification.

Candidates should apply only through online mode in the Teachers Recruitment Board website http://www.trb.tn.nic.in. Candidates should note that the application process is entirely online and no other mode of application will be accepted by the Board.
