Filling up of One Post of Under Secretary in the Office of The National Monuments Authority

It is proposed to fill up one post of Under Secretary, Central Govt. Service Group “A” (Level 11 in Pay Matrix-11 as per 7th pay commission) in The National Monuments Authority on deputation / contract basis.

ON DEPUTATION BASIS

Eligibility Criteria:-

Officers of the Central Government / State Government / Union Territories / Public Sector Undertaking / University / Recognized Research Institutions / Semi-Government / Statutory or Autonomous Organizations:-

(i) Holding analogous post on regular basis in the parent cadre / department, or

(ii) Eight years’ service in the Level 07 of Pay Matrix as per 7th pay commission or equivalent.

Desirable:-

(i) Degree / Diploma in History, Archaeology, Architecture.

(ii) Work experience in Archaeological Survey of India or any other organization relating to conservation of Monuments: Archaeology etc. will be preferred.

The terms and condition of deputation will be governed as per DOPT guidelines. The application should be routed through proper channel alongwith annual appraisal report for the last five years.

ON CONTRACT BASIS

Persons possessing qualifications and experience as specified in the case of appointment on deputations may apply for the post. The consolidated monthly remuneration of Rs. 35,000/-will be paid. The maximum age limit for appointment on contract basis shall not exceed sixty two years as on the closing date for receipt of application. The period of contract will be for one year initially, which can be extended up to three years.
