Telangana government agreed to fulfill the requirement of Karnataka with the help of Rajolibanda Diversion Scheme. Karnataka state delegation which includes Water Resources Minister M B Patil called on, Telangana T Harish Rao who looks after the Water Resources department and briefed about the ground situation. Speaking to the media, Karnataka minister said that Telangana government has responded positively and official will take the final call after due consultation with Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao. Patil expressed that urgent intervention would resolve the burning issue of drinking water and irrigation demands of the Tungabhadra region.
