State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra State, Mumbai is conducting the Common entrance test for granting the admission into Undergraduate Visual Arts courses. Application form for MAH AAC CET 2023 has been released. The CET is conducted to select the candidates into Fine Arts and Applied Arts. The candidates seeking admission into these courses can fill the application form before the last date for filing the applications.

MAH AAC CET Application Form 2023

The MAH AAC CET Application Form Last Date has been Re-Extended till 6th April 2023 on the official website of State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra State from 15th February 2023 to 30th May 2023 and those applicants are interested and eligible to get admission in the various Undergraduate Visual Art Courses (Fine Art and Applied Art) Visual Art Courses (Fine Art and Applied Art) courses, they can apply in this test by filling the application form through online mode. The application form filling steps as mentioned below.

  • Primarily, applicants need to go on the official website of State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra State.
  • Applicants have to click on the link of the application form available on the website and they have to enter these required details to create a login ID.
  • In the application form, applicants should have to fill all the required details such as personal, educational and contact details asked in the application form after using login details.
  • After entering these all details, applicants have to upload the scanned images of photograph and signature as per the prescribed format.
  • Candidates need to make the payment of application fee through debit card/credit card/internet banking.
  • Candidates should have to take the print out of the application form after submitting it.


Eligibility Criteria

Candidates should have to check their eligibility criteria before filling the application form of MAH AAC CET and the eligibility criteria details provided below.

  • The applicants must belong from Indian Citizenship.
  • They must be qualified in the HSC/12th standard examination can apply for MAH AAC CET.
  • Candidates can claim only one type of Maharashtra State Candidature Type i.e. from Type A to E.

    Maharashtra State Candidature types

    Eligibility Criterion

    Type A

    Candidates who have passed SSC and HSC from Maharashtra state  Candidate
    who is a Domicile of Maharashtra and/or is born in Maharashtra

    Type B

    Candidates who does not fall in Type A but  whose father or mother is domicile  in
    the state of Maharashtra

    Type C

    Candidates who does not fall in Type A or B but whose one of the parents are an employee of Government of India and who have been posted and reported to office in Maharashtra State before the last date for submission of  Form for CAP

    Type D

    A Candidate who does not fall in any of the categories of Type‐A, Type B and Type‐C but
    whose Father/ Mother is an employee or retired employee of the Government of Maharashtra or its Undertaking.

    Type E

    Candidates passing SSC/ HSC Exame from a recognized university
    situated during a disputed Maharashtra Karnataka Border Area and whose maternal language is Marathi.



    • All India Candidature: Candidates with Indian Nationality are Eligible under this category
    • Minority Candidature: The Candidate belong to a particular Linguistic or Religious Minority
      Community from State of Maharashtra and as notified by the Govt are eligible under this
    • NRI Candidature: The Candidates who fits in the conditions as defined in clause (n) of section 2 of the Act are eligible under this category.
    • Foreign Student or OCI or PIO Candidature: The Foreign Student Candidates, as defined in clauses by the Indian Government, the Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) candidate and Persons of Indian Origin (PIO) are eligible under this Category.
    •  Jammu and Kashmir Migrant Candidature: Citizens from unsafe border area of Jammu and Kashmir to a relatively safer place in Jammu and Kashmir or the children of officers belonging to IAS, IPS or IFS and children of staff belonging to military and paramilitary forces or The children of staff and officers of Jammu and Kashmir police engaged in combating terrorism are eligible under this category
    • For PWD category candidates in addition to the basic criteria mentioned above anyone with any form of permanent disability is eligible to seek admission against the seats reserved for the PWD candidates if they submit a certificate clearly stating that the extent of disability is not less than 40% and the disability is of permanent nature.
